Why choose us

Why our clients choose Whanganui Flooring

Yep granted, there's plenty of flooring options in the Whanganui and Manawatū region. But here's some of what makes us different...

Technical competence you can rely on

Flooring is a trade skill, and we take that seriously. We have deep technical knowledge of flooring systems, adhesives, preparation methods and installation techniques for carpet, vinyl, sheet vinyl, safety flooring and wall vinyl.

This matters because it's the difference between a floor that performs for fifteen years and one that starts to fail in two.

Honest advice - not sales-driven recommendations

We're deliberate about the suppliers we use and the products we recommend. Our advice is based on what suits your space, your usage and your budget - not on what generates the best margin for us.

If a product isn't right for your situation, we'll tell you. If a cheaper option will genuinely serve you just as well, we'll tell you that too.

Correct preparation every time

Many flooring problems begin beneath the surface. A poorly prepared subfloor leads to bubbling, lifting, uneven wear and premature failure regardless of how good the product was.

We assess and prepare subfloors properly before installation begins. It takes more time. It costs a little more upfront. But it's the reason our work holds up.

We're not a volume business

We don't take on more work than we can do well. We're not racing to the next job before the current one is finished.

When we're on your project, we're focused on doing it right.
